Thank you so much to everyone who donated to our silent auction basket. It turned out amazing! Bids were over $70 at the end of the auction. :)
Today our class learned about the water cycle and how tiny water droplets make up clouds. We used shaving cream, water, and food coloring to see how rain comes from clouds. This month our class have been reading the book Zen Shorts every Wednesday. Zen Shorts tells the story of a panda named Stillwater who tells three ancient Zen tales to children he meets. Each story teaches a lesson about kindness, forgiveness, and optimism. In the book are beautiful illustrations of cherry blossom trees. Our class water colored blue paper like the sky, blew black paint threw a straw to make the tree, and glued punk tissue paper to make cherry blossoms. |
